First Order of Business:

·         Joe Peck asked about concerns/feedback on the new Shanks Restaurant. All positive feedback so far.

·         Monthly assessments will remain the same through the 2012 season

·         Winter dress code discussed. Jeans will be allowed on the course December 1 thru February 28th. All other times usual dress code is required.

·         There will be a member’s book put out with a description of all men’s and women’s tournaments. No dates will be in the book so they can be used for more than one year. This will be reformatted by Kevin McKee and Bob Guisti.

Chairman’s report

·         No new business to report from the Chairman

New Business

·         Tom Piepenbrink has put together the hole in one pool. Applications are out and in the proshop.

·         Jay Sullivan asks all committee members to put some thought into gifts for the fall member/guest tournament.

·         The funds for the Winter’s Scholarship are running low and this may come to an end. There will be future discussion on the possibility of changing the name of the tournament.

Pro Shop News

·         Bob Guisti reports that the bag room is now open.

·         New product lines will continue to show up.

·         The driving range will be open within the next week.

·         Joe Caffrey will be starting just before the Cronin.

Greens

·         Doug Clay reports that Ed is currently working on the traps and general cleanup of the course.

·         Greens will begin to be cut as soon as growth warrants it.

·         Doug Clay will find out if there are any plans for the sink hole on the right fairway on hole 17.

Treasurers report

·         Bill Panzino reports no activity in the account this month.

Tournaments

·         Barry Tucker reminded the group that Men’s Opening Day is April 21st. Applications will be out soon.

·         Discussion about the numbers of people on the Fall Member/Guest wait list. Should we consider pushing the Spring Member/Guest for those who have not been able to play in the fall member/guest, along with all of our membership.

Handicaps

Next meeting will be held Tuesday, April 10th at 6pm
