Handicaps

Jack (The Ayatollah) McCarty reported that some how his handicap got restricted so get your quota and Nassau bets in quickly. Jack asks that you take care in filling in your score cards. Please...names, local numbers, tees, signatures, attests, and always...equitable stroke control. If you don't know what ESC is, ask Bob or Jack. The Handicap Chairman has been unusually lenient but is now assessing penalty scores for incomplete scorecards. Any new members who still do not have a CCH handicap can see Bob Giusti and get an application which should be given to the Executive Committee with your association fee of $50 (which includes your handicap fee). There will be new score cards shortly. The Ayatollah wants the members to know that a statistical evaluation of thousands of score cards has resulted in a couple of changes on the front side vis-à-vis the handicap of the holes. We will let the members know when these handicap changes take place. It was VOTED unanimously to accept the report.

The Committee discussed whether next year we should just collect the handicap money from the members and pay the bill to the MGA. The Executive Committee could then chase the dues. It was decided to table the issue until the final meeting of the year
